PRIMEWAVE ENGINE

Deterministic, Film-Ready Audio Visualization Engine

Primewave is a complete audio intelligence system that deconstructs every track into its fundamental components—htdemucs 6-stem separation (drums, bass, vocals, guitar, piano, other)—then analyzes each stem using multi-scale intelligence: 3 STFT windows, 24-bin CQT, Morlet wavelets, and spectral metrics per band. The engine detects musical events: kick drums, double-kicks, snare hits, guitar chugs, palm-mutes, and riff patterns—then drives 120 million particles through GPU-rendered physics where every particle carries spatial memory of where it's been.

This isn't frequency-to-color mapping. This is a custom-built audio deconstruction pipeline feeding a custom-built actuator system (HaloReact) that translates musical intent into precisely-timed visual events—synchronized to within a single frame. Deterministic output means the same song produces the exact same visualization, every time. Film-ready.

Technical Architecture

The BDFM (Big Data Feature Map) is the audio intelligence core—running three parallel STFT windows (256, 1024, 4096 samples), 24-bin constant-Q transforms, and Morlet wavelet analysis. It extracts RMS, spectral flux, rolloff, flatness, crest factor, kurtosis, and skewness per frequency band.

htdemucs 6-stem separation isolates drums, bass, vocals, guitar, piano, and other—enabling separate particle physics for each musical element. The HaloReact actuator system translates detected musical events—kick drums, snares, guitar chugs, palm-mutes—into precisely-timed visual actions through particle tribes with distinct physics behaviors.

Spatial Imprint Memory gives particles persistent color based on zones they've passed through—a patent-pending system. Combined with XPBD constraint-based physics for geometric structures, HDR compositing with ACES tone mapping, the result is film-ready, bit-identical output: same song = same frames, every time.

A custom retrieval system called ScornSpine gives agents deep context across thousands of documents. Voice-native development enables hands-free collaboration. 110+ Architecture Decision Records document every major choice.
